🍎Mrs. Luanne Akins
Our teacher, Luanne Akins has been working with young children for 28 years.
She worked in the school division with many students with diverse needs, also as a speech/language assistant and most recently worked in Pre-K alongside Tammy Grieve, who pioneered the Pre-K program for South East Cornerstone School Division in Weyburn.
Luanne has a diploma in Early Childhood Education and was honored to receive the Distinguished Graduate Award.
Her extensive experience, musical talent, creativity, passion and enthusiasm make her the ideal teacher for the Playschool!
🍎 Mrs. Carissa Tatarliov
Carissa Tatarliov is the Teacher’s Assistant at Weyburn Cooperative Playschool.
She started her involvement with the Playschool being a board member while her kids attended. She has her Educational Assistant Certificate and Level 2 in Early Childhood Education.
Her favorite part of the day is doing the crafts with the students and watching their personalities come out in what they create.
